Core Responsibilities as Automotive Sales Consultant:
Responsibilities include assisting customers through their vehicle purchase to include presenting vehicle options, ensuring customers understand vehicle’s technology and features, and executing timely follow up to maintain positive relationships with previous and prospective customers.
Core Responsibilities as Back up Finance Manager:
- Customer Financing - Assess customer needs, run credit applications, and secure financing/leases from various lenders (banks, credit unions).
- Product Sales - Present and sell "back-end" products, including extended service contracts, GAP insurance, tire protection, and anti-theft devices, which are significant profit centers.
- Paperwork & Compliance - Prepare and verify all legal documents, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations (like truth-in-lending laws).
- Lender Relations - Build and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions to get competitive rates and diverse loan options.
