Job DescriptionRole:
· Customer facing Test Lead role, tasked with the responsibility of leading the test effort on one or more Oracle Retail modules
· Involves fronting a part of the testing engagement, along with planning, estimation, and remediation of issues that impede the test effort
Must Have Skills:
· 8-10 years’ testing experience in Oracle Retail, especially in RMS
· Ability to Plan, create and execute test scenarios, cases for Oracle Retail
· Must have good understanding of Oracle Retail in general
· Must have strong functional understanding of Retail Industry
· Good SQL query skills to query on databases via a SQL query tool such as SQL developer
· Must understand overall applications integration layout
· Good Communication Skills
· Highly Self Motivated
Beneficial Skills:
· Experience with QA Complete Test Management Tool
Responsibility:
· Ensuring the appropriate planning and management of the test resources
· Assessing and effectively reporting the progress and effectiveness of the test effort
· Advocating the appropriate level of quality by the resolution of important defects
· Track and prepare the report of testing activities like test testing results, test case coverage, required resources, defects discovered and their status, performance baselines etc
· Prepares / updates the metrics dashboard at the end of a phase or at the completion of project and report back to the Sr. Test Manager
· Ensure content and structure of all Testing documents / artifacts is documented and maintained
· Escalate the issues about project requirements (Software, Hardware, Resources) to Project Manager / Sr. Test Manager
Send Status Report (Daily, Weekly etc.) to the Sr. Test Manager / Client
Qualificationsshould be eligible to work in UK
Skills Required
