Job Description
We are establishing a pool of qualified candidates to fill level 1,2 and 3 risk management roles to be filled on as needed basis.
QualificationsThe applicant must have 5 plus years experience in many of the following areas:
- Conducting risk assessments;
- Identifying project risks and overall project risks;
- Recommending alternative solutions, methodologies and strategies for risk mitigation and Management;
- Producing risk management plans;
- Conducting risk assessments for troubled projects to quickly assess associated risks and recommend courses of action to minimize inherent risks;
- Assisting in prioritization and assignment of risks;
- Assisting in the development and/or implementation of Risk Management Plans;
- Managing the implementation of Risk Management Plans to identify, analyze, plan, track and controlling project risks on a continuous basis throughout the project life cycle; and
- Coaching, mentoring and training project teams in risk mitigation techniques.
The candidate should have a valid clearance of enhanced or greater issued by Public Works and Government Services Canada.
Skills Required
- 5+ years of relevant risk management experience
- Conducting risk assessments
- Identifying project and overall project risks
- Recommending alternative solutions, methodologies and risk mitigation strategies
- Producing risk management plans
- Conducting rapid risk assessments for troubled projects and recommending courses of action
- Assisting in prioritization and assignment of risks
- Assisting in development and/or implementation of Risk Management Plans
- Managing implementation of Risk Management Plans to identify, analyze, plan, track and control project risks throughout the project life cycle
- Coaching, mentoring and training project teams in risk mitigation techniques
- Valid enhanced (or greater) clearance issued by Public Works and Government Services Canada
