Summary Generated by Built In

Performance Drone Works (PDW) is building the next generation of tactical robotic systems used across defense, national security, and public safety missions. We are building a new center of engineering excellence to design our new category of tactical robotic systems and the industrial capacity to deliver them, bringing decisive airpower into the hands of every operator. We are not here to make promises; we are here to deliver real systems with real capabilities for real missions.

You will join a team of operators, engineers, and builders who solve hard problems with humility and focus. We design and produce multi-mission aerial systems that operators trust to perform in real-world conditions, reliably, repeatedly, and at scale. Our approach is grounded in operator-centered design, rapid iteration from field use, and U.S.-based manufacturing. We operate by a clear set of values: Mission First, Aim Farther, Own It, Win Together. This is how we build advantage and how we help protect our service members, our communities, and our country.

Now, we’re entering a new phase of growth and are looking for a Revenue Operations Manager to run core commercial operations across bookings, revenue support, reporting, and product administration. Reporting to the Director of Revenue Operations, this hands-on individual contributor will ensure critical processes are accurate, timely, scalable, and supported by reliable data.

The role partners with Sales, Finance, Product, Manufacturing, Customer Success, and business systems teams to translate business needs into clear workflows, resolve operational exceptions, and improve how work moves across functions.

What You’ll Do

  • Support weekly pipeline and forecast reviews by monitoring sales opportunities for hygiene, stage progression, forecast risk, and policy adherence.
  • Be the first line quote approver reviewing submissions for accuracy, pricing, terms, delivery, and contracting.
  • Run the day to day bookings process by reviewing opportunity, contract, purchase order, product, pricing, approval, and close date data against established booking criteria.
  • Partner with Sales and Finance to resolve booking and revenue data exceptions, complete required documentation, and maintain accurate reporting.
  • Track dependencies across the booking to revenue lifecycle and coordinate follow up with Sales, Finance, Manufacturing, Product, Customer Success, and other process owners.
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable processes, system requirements, testing plans, and user enablement.
  • Lead new SKU development and deployment by coordinating product, pricing, marketing, finance, operational requirements, approvals, and launch readiness.
  • Create and coordinate product and price book setup in Salesforce and NetSuite, then validate quoting, booking, reporting, revenue, and manufacturing workflows before release.
  • Use Salesforce, Excel, and Power BI to reconcile data, analyze exceptions, support updates, and produce reliable operational reporting.
  • Document procedures, controls, ownership, decision rules, and escalation paths, then partner with Salesforce administrators and other system owners to reduce manual effort, eliminate recurring failure points, and implement sustainable improvements.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Deal Desk, Finance Operations, Business Operations, or a related commercial operations role.

  • Product or SKU lifecycle management, price book administration, product master data, or product launches across multiple systems.
  • Revenue recognition support, billing, order management, or month end and quarter end close processes.
  • Experience in manufacturing, defense, aerospace, government contracting, or another regulated industry.

What We Do

The fight has changed. Capability that once depended on large, centralized systems is moving closer to the operator. Performance Drone Works (PDW) is a defense technology company building multi-mission aerial robotic systems for that reality. We are creating a new category of tactical robotic systems designed to bridge the gap between low-capability drones and high-end platforms. Just as important, we are building the industrial capacity to produce those systems at scale in the United States. Everything starts with the operator. We learn from real-world use, move quickly, and build systems designed to perform when the mission depends on them. Our mission is simple: put decisive airpower in the hands of every operator.

Why Work With Us

At PDW, you’ll build technology that matters. We’re a proven, mission-driven team of veterans, engineers and problem-solvers moving at startup speed to put decisive capabilities in the hands of those who serve. Ideas win, impact matters and your best work can make a difference from day one.
