As a Research Scientist in our AI R&D team, you will be at the forefront of AI research and play a pivotal role in driving research in human-computer interaction (HCI), specifically focusing on understanding macOS apps and their interfaces, using the latest advancements in natural language processing, computer vision, multimodality research.

For This Role
- Lead HCI-focused AI research projects from concept to implementation.
- Translate cutting-edge research into innovative solutions for macOS applications.
- Collaborate across teams to integrate AI advancements into MacPaw products.
- Communicate research results to internal and external audiences (scientific conferences).
Skills you'll need to bring:
- Experience in one or more of the following Machine Learning domains: Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Human-Computer Interaction (HCI).
- Strong knowledge of linear algebra, probability theory/statistics, and graph theory.
- Advanced prototyping skills and experience implementing algorithms from academic papers.
- Previous experience publishing academic papers.
As a plus:
- Ph.D. in machine learning, AI, statistics, computer science or related technical fields
- Familiarity with the Apple ecosystem, including iOS/macOS SDK and Core ML.
