The role…

The Research Associate I in the CST Antibody Production organization will perform centralized workflows as part of a core team in order to support the production, release, and maintenance of high-quality products and data. This position requires a balance between bench work and data management.

You’ll have the opportunity to…

  • Perform western blotting and immunoprecipitation experiments for quality control testing of raw material and antibody products within established SLAs. 
  • Perform Simple Western testing of OTS antibody products. 
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation in appropriate hard copy and electronic laboratory systems (e.g. notebooks, Core LIMS, Jira, PDP, PLM, etc.) in accordance with CST quality systems requirements. 
  • Follow established protocols. 
  • Continuously seek, champion, and evaluate techniques and technological opportunities that will improve quality, efficiency, or scalability of work.

Who you are and what you bring to the team…

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a biological science (e.g. molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry or biotechnology) 
  • 1 year of academic and/or post-graduate laboratory experience 
  • Ability to design basic experiments and follow protocols 
  • Proven understanding of biological processes 
  • Computer proficiency including working knowledge of MS Office and Google suites (or related) applications 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Willingness to learn new laboratory techniques

  • Basic knowledge of signal transduction cascades
