We focus on fostering independence and personal responsibility, providing tailored services that empower young people with the skills, resilience, and support needed to make informed decisions that positively shape their futures. Our goal is to enable them to pursue their aspirations and lead fulfilling, autonomous lives. The Beehive Project offers a range of accommodation options designed to support young people aged 16-25 at different stages of their journey toward independence.

The Role

We are looking for a proactive and well‑organised Recruitment Administrator to join our HR team, focused entirely on recruitment and the administration that supports it. This role suits someone who enjoys detail, keeps processes moving, and wants every candidate and hiring manager to have a professional experience from application through to first day.

You will coordinate our recruitment function end to end, making sure vacancies are filled safely, compliantly and on time. This is a part-time role for a minimum of 24 hours per week.

Duties

  • Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process including posting vacancies, screening applications, arranging interviews, liaising with candidates and supporting hiring managers.
  • Manage job adverts and candidate pipelines within our applicant tracking system, keeping candidate records accurate and up to date.
  • Carry out pre-employment checks in line with safer recruitment, including right to work checks, references, DBS applications and tracking, and employment history gap checks.
  • Prepare offer letters and manage onboarding through the background checks system through to each new starter’s first day.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment and pre-employment compliance records within the HR system, ensuring files are complete and audit ready.
  • Produce recruitment and onboarding reports, including vacancy, time-to-hire and compliance tracking, and support workforce audits and inspections.
  • Act as the first point of contact for recruitment and onboarding queries, providing a professional and supportive service to candidates, staff and managers.
  • Support recruitment events, job fairs and community outreach to attract candidates from a range of backgrounds.
  • Ensure recruitment and onboarding processes are completed in line with safer recruitment standards, Ofsted and CQC requirements, company policies and UK employment legislation.

Requirements

Candidate Attributes and desirable skills:

  • Experience in a recruitment, HR or administrative role, ideally within social care or another regulated sector.
  • Knowledge of safer recruitment and pre-employment checks, or a willingness to learn.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple vacancies and deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and confidence working with data.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships with candidates and managers.
  • Confident using applicant tracking systems, HR systems and Microsoft Office. Direct experience using Workable and ZincWork would be beneficial.
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • An interest in recruitment and HR.
  • The ability to be flexible in line with recruitment activities in the business.

You will embody our values – PRAISE:

Passion – Bring energy, commitment, and heart to everything you do, showing genuine care for the young people we support.
