Role Overview
Manually test productivity desktop apps built on .NET for Windows (10/11). You'll work closely with our product and
engineering teams to ensure our agentic AI desktop product works flawlessly on Windows.
Required Skills
• 4+ years manual functional testing of desktop applications
• Access to Windows (10/11) machines for testing
• Test plan authoring: derive new test cases from product specs, UI walkthroughs, or hands-on exploration;produce structured CSV/spreadsheet formats with clear test descriptions, steps, expected outcomes, and pass/fail criteria
• Refine AI-drafted test plans: we bootstrap test plans using AI, but they require substantial human rework— removing redundancies, adding edge cases, sharpening expected outcomes, and restructuring cases. You'll lead this refinement.
• Clear bug write-ups: precise reproduction steps, severity classification, screenshots, and log capture
• Comfort with complex UI patterns: multi-window interfaces, drag-and-drop, modal dialogs, system tray/menu bar behavior, and installer flows
• Platform-specific knowledge: Windows Shell Extensions, registry, NSIS installers
• MS365 / Outlook familiarity—we integrate with both Outlook Classic and modern Outlook
• Strong written English; proficiency with Microsoft Teams and GitLab for collaboration and issue tracking

• Microsoft Entra / OAuth sign-in flow testing
• AI / LLM chat product testing
• Installer validation (NSIS on Windows)
