Position Description
Seeking a highly skilled QA lead to drive our Selenium automation team. The position will be responsible for leading the day to day activities of a test automation team focusing on Selenium, but also leveraging QuickTest Pro / Unified Functional Test, comprised of onshore and offshore employees and contractors.
The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years experience performing lead-level activities for a test automation team with 3-5 years of hands on automation development. The candidate should possess the following skills:
• Extensive knowledge of Selenium, specifically scripting in Java
• Experience with Unified Functional Test and HP Application Lifecycle Management are strongly desired
• Developing automation strategy and requirements by working with system testers to create an automation scope from requirements and use cases
• Developing automated tests from system test cases
• Identifying and modeling level of effort and return on investment for automation efforts to drive current and future scope
• Working with development teams to track and resolve defects across multiple projects and releases
• Developing and maintaining large, extensible automation frameworks, libraries and other reusable assets which are shared across multiple teams
• Analyzing complex requirements, software and processes
• Self-motivated with a desire to constantly improve yourself and your team
• Ability to work collaboratively with members across multiple disciplines
• Able to set and measure goals for a team and drive team members to achieve those goals

Skills Required
- 3+ years experience performing lead-level activities for a test automation team
- 3-5 years hands-on automation development experience
- Extensive knowledge of Selenium with scripting in Java
- Experience with QuickTest Pro / Unified Functional Test (UFT)
- Experience with HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
- Developing automation strategy and requirements from test cases and use cases
- Developing automated tests from system test cases
- Identifying and modeling level of effort and ROI for automation efforts
- Working with development teams to track and resolve defects across projects/releases
- Developing and maintaining large, extensible automation frameworks and reusable assets
