As a Backend Developer, you'll be responsible for building, testing, deploying, and maintaining reliable backend systems. You'll understand the business context behind features, write maintainable code, and contribute to a strong engineering culture.

·  Work across the software development lifecycle from analysis through deployment and maintenance.

·  Design and develop backend functionality using Python and Django.

·  Write structured, maintainable code with clear documentation and technical design.

·  Build solutions that cover use cases, testing, integration, and production quality.

·  Work with SQL or NoSQL databases and integrate components into functional systems.

·  Use user feedback and production insights to improve stability and usability.

·  Prepare technical documentation and training material for new engineers.

·  Collaborate with the engineering team to deliver high-quality features.

·  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

·  3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, Backend Developer, or relevant role.

·  Strong proficiency in Python and Django.

·  Understanding of OOP, persistence, threading, data structures, and algorithms.

·  Hands-on experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.

·  Knowledge of AI-assisted code generation and tools such as Copilot, Cursor, or Claude.

·  Ability to work collaboratively with strong communication skills.

·  Open-source project experience.

·  Experience designing interactive applications.

·  Prior experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or OpenStack.

·  Experience working in a startup environment.

·  Features ship with strong code quality, test coverage, maintainability, and reliability.

·  Technical decisions stay connected to customer and business outcomes.

·  You contribute to a collaborative engineering culture and help others grow.
