What you’ll do…

The Project Scheduler will be a business critical member of the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, & Construction) Team. It will work cross-functionally across the EPC, Project Finance, Project Development, and Origination Teams within the organization on defining/managing project schedules to take projects through to their commercial operating date (COD).

Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the creation and implementation of the integrated EPC schedule for microgrid generation projects.
- Providing a resource loaded and leveled project schedule which clearly identifies critical path and float areas
- Monitoring, collecting and entering progress on a regular basis for the project.
- Collaborating with Project Managers, Engineers, Procurement, and Construction to define schedule requirements and work sequence.
- Developing and maintaining regular scheduling reporting including but not limited to look ahead schedules, Manpower, Project Dashboarding, and client reports as required.
- Working with subcontractors and vendors to integrate schedules into the master schedule.
- Reviewing project schedule and drive communication to project leadership when risk areas are identified with appropriate mitigation plans to assure on time delivery.
- Performing ongoing schedule analysis, critical path analysis, risk analysis reporting, evaluate, and recommend schedule improvements and opportunities.
- Preparing and delivering accurate and on time reporting to meet client contractual requirements.
- Working with Cost management team to gain alignment when forecasting schedule completion dates.
- Supporting the project team to provide clear visibility on status and schedule both internally and to client.
- Supporting senior management and planning personnel as appropriate.
Requirements
Required Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, or Engineering, or other related field.
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience using Microsoft Project or similar.
- Minimum 2+ years of professional experience related to EPC project-based environment.
- Power, energy, or construction industry experience.
- MUST HAVE experience maintaining project schedules in Microsoft Project or similar scheduling tool.
- Strong understanding in project scheduler initiatives such as creating project schedules, cost metrics, critical path assessments, key sequencing, and milestone performance management
- Working knowledge technical and commercial elements of the EPC origination, project development, engineering, pre-construction, and construction processes
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and project management skills related to prioritizing and executing timely deliverables within timeline, scope, and budget
