Job Description: Project Manager – Tax Operations Transformation
Location: Remote (Poland) / Occasional office visits
Duration: 12 months (with option to extend)
Start Date: Q1 2027 (January / March)
About the Role
We are seeking experienced Project Managers to lead key streams within a multi-year, global transformation initiative. The program aims to industrialize and centralize tax operations across Custody, Fund Accounting, and Transfer Agency—replacing manual, fragmented processes with a standardized, automated, and scalable operational model.
We are recruiting for two distinct profiles:
Profile 1 (Tax Data & Master Data Management Focus): Owns the creation of the Single Source of Truth for all tax references across lines of business. Industrializes tax data via a Gold Source Model to eliminate bespoke exceptions and enable automated workflows and self-service reporting.
Profile 2 (Target Operating Model & Consulting Focus): Designs and rolls out the Tax Operating Model Blueprint. Transitions operational teams to industrialized standards by defining daily procedures, controls, KPIs, SLAs, and client-facing delivery frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Lead assigned program streams to meet target milestones, including vendor RFIs, platform rollouts, and regulatory readiness initiatives (e.g., US QI declarations and reclaims).
Drive cross-business alignment across Custody, Fund Accounting, and Transfer Agency stakeholders.
Apply Agile methodologies to ensure continuous value delivery throughout the project lifecycle.
Establish, monitor, and report on key program metrics and KPIs to senior management.
Embed subject-matter governance, standardized controls, and data management into daily operations.
Experience & Background
Total Experience: 8+ years of professional experience in project management.
Financial Services: 3+ years in Banking or Financial Services (Securities Services / Asset Servicing experience is a strong plus).
Consulting Experience: Background in advisory/consulting is required for Profile 2 (TOM focus).
Domain & Technical Knowledge
Profile 1: Expertise in Tax/Regulatory operational requirements and Master Data Management (MDM).
Profile 2: Strong background in Target Operating Model (TOM) design, process mapping, SLA definition, and operational change.
Certifications: PMI, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications are a plus.
Tools: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word).
Soft Skills & Languages
Languages: Fluent English (C1+ required, written and spoken). French is a strong plus.
Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills with senior management.
Strong ability to turn complex operational topics into clear, actionable plans.
Autonomous, highly organized, and comfortable working in dynamic, multi-disciplinary teams.
Skills Required

- 3+ years of experience in banking or financial services

- For Profile 2: consulting or advisory experience
- For Profile 2: experience designing Target Operating Models, mapping processes, defining SLAs, and leading operational change
- Fluent English at C1+ level, written and spoken
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word
- PMI, PRINCE2, or Agile certification
- French language proficiency
- Securities Services or Asset Servicing experience
