We’re looking for a Project Manager to work with our Medical Imaging Department to act as Humber River Health’s project point of contact during the implementation planning, execution and go-live activities for the new PACS system.  


Employment Status: Temporary Full-Time

Duration: 12 months 

Reporting Relationship: Program Director, Medical Imaging

Location: Hennick Humber Hospital – Wilson Site

Hours of work: Days

Union: Non-Union

Wage Range: $49.919 - $ 62.438 

 


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and drive all activities during implementation, development, installation, training, and deployment phases with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Deliver progress updates to the Program Director and Senior Leadership Team on the project status.
  • Monitor project and implementation against timeline and quality goals; address barriers to project completion or escalate to Director for resolution.
  • Collaborate with the PACS vendor, assigned Project Manager to ensure all deliverables are implemented and achieved.
  • Coordinate activities with diverse interdisciplinary stakeholders to determine and manage workflow changes maintaining communication pathways throughout implementation, go-live and post go-live time periods.
  • Ensure all integrations are timeline matched and successfully implemented with the corporate EMR and various third-party vendors.

 

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Health-related discipline or MBA preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of Project Management experience with preference given to those with experience in a healthcare/hospital setting.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is required or equivalent specific PACS implementation experience.
  • Change management certification is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic approach to work with in-depth knowledge of project work.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio and Excel, project management related software required.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
