Job Title: Project Manager

Location: McLean, VA

Responsibilities:

• Manage assigned projects and activities from initiation to close-out.

• Manage the project delivery from the cross-functional teams and matrix teams, including vendor engagement and management.

• Support the management and planning of all efforts associated with Data projects including: scope management, development and management of work plans

• Defining and delivering individual project deliverables, managing the expectations of all stakeholders, organizing and addressing emerging project requirements, managing project relationships and integrations, and managing more than one project team including vendors in the delivery of commitments.

• Develop and manage scope within the project to be delivered through effective expectations setting, communications, change management control, budget control and management, and overall business understanding of the project needs.

• Report project progress, issues, and risks through weekly status reports and reporting up to IT and Business management teams.

• Drive detailed execution oversight, status reporting, risk assessment/escalation, budgeting, and resource forecasts.

• Work with Architecture/Technical teams and systems analysts to assess impact of issues and provide alternative solutions/recovery plans to ensure goals are achieved.

• Communicate effectively, clearly, and concisely in both verbal and written forms.

• Ability to develop, manage, and report on metrics toward achievement of plans/projects

Required:

• 8 to 10 years of related experience

• Strong facilitation skills and process-driven analytical skills

• Day to Day Project Execution of one or more concurrent projects

• Experience managing Data warehousing / Data Mart (ETL/BI) software development projects

• Software Skills: Sharepoint, MS Project, MS Excel, MS Power Point, MS Word, MS Visio

• Proven track record to learn quickly

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Agile Methodology

• General knowledge of secondary mortgage industry

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and listening skill sets
