Responsibilities & Duties:
- Lead or support the origination, structuring, negotiation and execution of financing documents (internal or project finance) for medium to large size transactions.
- Develop robust financial models to support investment decisions, following group guidelines. Maintain responsibility for the accuracy and correct incorporation of relevant inputs to such models. Propose and implement relevant sensitivity analysis.
- Coach and support junior team members in carrying out their tasks and compliance with group financing methodology. Provision of strategic input to financing activities.
- Analyse, evaluate and recommend financing options and proposals as they relate to a business development project or other funding needs. Participation in the selection of funding sources / institutions.
- Assist the business development decision making process, identifying key financial indicators to be applied and monitored for investment decisions.
- Contribute to financial Due Diligence on M&A opportunities, including coordination of external financial advisors.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong financial modelling skills
- Willingness to take up responsibility and ownership.
- Intent to work at a pace required to meet deliverables/ targets.
- Exposure to origination, transactions and raising debt.
Experience:
Minimum 3-4 years in project/ infra finance post
qualification.
Education Qualification:
MBA in finance and/or Engineering /Qualified CA
Skills Required
- Minimum 3–4 years of post-qualification experience in project or infrastructure finance
- Strong financial modeling skills
- Exposure to origination, transactions, and raising debt
- MBA in Finance and/or Engineering
- Qualified Chartered Accountant
- Willingness to take responsibility and ownership
- Ability to work at the pace required to meet deliverables and targets
