We are looking for a candidate who not only has strong experience in programmatic advertising, but who also has the confidence to take ownership and make decisions. You are comfortable operating in a complex, fast-paced environment and are not afraid to challenge the status quo when needed. You have the ability to inspire both clients and colleagues with your strategic thinking and innovative ideas, and you bring a proactive, hands-on “can-do” mentality to everything you do. In addition, you are someone who:
Client Leadership
- Act as the primary programmatic contact for senior clients and internal stakeholders
- Translate client business objectives into clear, effective programmatic strategies
- Drive long-term partnerships through proactive advice and performance ownership
Programmatic Strategy & Activation
- Develop and oversee end-to-end programmatic media strategies across channels
- Ensure best-in-class campaign setup, activation, optimization and delivery
- Lead planning across formats, platforms and markets with a performance mindset
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach and develop (Senior) programmatic specialists
- Set clear objectives, monitor performance and support professional growth
- Foster collaboration, knowledge sharing and high delivery standards
Operational Excellence
- Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within scope and budget
- Optimize workflows, processes and ways of working to increase efficiency
- Maintain quality control and compliance across all programmatic activities
Data, Insights & Performance
- Oversee campaign measurement, reporting and performance analysis
- Translate data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations
- Drive continuous optimization based on results, learnings and benchmarks
Stakeholder & Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with strategy, analytics, technology and client teams
- Align programmatic execution with broader media and business objectives
- Support senior leadership with insights, presentations and recommendations
Innovation & Market Expertise
- Stay ahead of industry developments, platforms and technologies
- Identify opportunities for innovation, testing and product development
- Act as a subject-matter expert within programmatic and digital media
Skills:
Experience: Extensive experience in programmatic advertising with a proven track record of leading successful campaigns and driving client satisfaction.
Strategic Vision: Exceptional ability to develop and articulate a clear vision for programmatic strategies, combined with strong operational skills.
Analytical Expertise: Deep knowledge of analytics, metrics, and tools that inform data-driven decision-making and campaign optimization.
Communication Skills: Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts clearly to varied audiences.
Language: Dutch and/or English fluently both verbally and written any other languages are a pre.
Leadership Skills: Experience in leading and developing teams, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and excellence.
