We are seeking a proactive, mid-level Product Engineer who will take full ownership of hardware development with minimal supervision. In this hybrid engineering/CAM role you will partner across mechanical, electrical, software, and manufacturing disciplines to drive a product from concept through design, build, integration, and test. You'll act as the technical champion for your hardware, ensuring it meets performance, schedule, and cost targets in support of rapid-delivery satellite programs.

Position Responsibilities:
- Own hardware and product deliverables "cradle to grave"
- Perform CAM responsibilities (technical, schedule, cost accountability)
- Apply strong fundamentals including derating, RCCA, and SMC-S-016/MAS intent
- Break large work into tasks and delegate to junior engineers
- Review other engineers' work and provide technical feedback
- Identify, track, and mitigate subsystem risks
- Manage corrective actions and configuration changes
- Ensure technical decisions align with product goals, risk posture, and mission needs
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location
Security Clearance:
This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. A Final U.S. Secret clearance post start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
- 2 or more years of hardware design/build/test experience
- This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. A Final U.S. Secret clearance post start is required
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Level 3: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
- 5 or more years of hardware design/build/test experience
- Demonstrated understanding of electrical fundamentals and product lifecycle
- CAM or REA experience
- Experience leading hardware design from concept through ATLO
- Familiarity with derating standards, root cause analysis, and compliance flows

Level 2: $97,5000 - $145,000
