What we offer:Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for quality and conformance of product to customer specifications per control plans utilizing TS16949 & ISO14001 documented systems; authority to stop non-conforming processes and report same to supervisor, Quality Assurance and/or Engineering department representative
•Perform basic assembly of components and sub-assemblies
•Operate resistance spot weld machines to assemble products
•Perform basic safety inspections on equipment and record data
•Complete SPC (Statistical Process Control) checks and charts as required
•Weld destruct testing & recording of data as required
•Basic machine maintenance/weld tip changes
•100% visual inspection & packaging of product
•Operate machines at optimum efficiency to achieve acceptable rates
•Tagging and labeling containers per the work instructions
•Housekeeping and other activities as assigned
•Assist with Inventory
TECHNICAL EDUCATION
•Basic math skills needed
•SPC (Statistical Process Control) preferred but not required
•Training on proper machine settings (as needed), tagging, labeling, inspection, destruct, and packaging procedures specific to the assigned work cell
QUALIFICATIONS
•1-2 years manufacturing experience preferred
•Basic machine operation skills
•Prior assembly experience helpful but not required
•Ability to use a calculator
WORKING CONDITIONS:
•Ability to move throughout the plant
•Extended sitting and standing; reaching and bending
•Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. may be required
•Loud work environment; compliance with personal protective equipment as required
