The UI/UX Designer creates excellent end-user interactions and overall experience for those users navigating our data-dense web-based applications and websites. The UI/UX Designer seeks to improve the user experience by suggesting interactions that are simple, useful, scalable, accessible, and visually compelling. They collaborate with teams and individuals across a wide variety of departments as needed: Development Product, Operations, Sales, Marketing, and external clients.
Responsibilities:
- Deep knowledge of design tools.
- Creates standard usability testing plans and executes.
- Works effectively with various stakeholders, including target users, to bring together a product design.
- Takes initiative in gathering requirements and personal development and validation.
- Support and mentor less-experienced UI/UX designers.
- Oversees the user interface and overall customer-experience design for our key web applications.
- Manages and prioritizes multiple project timelines in a fast-paced environment.
- Adopts a data-driven approach to present design solutions.
- Maintain and evolve design systems and guidelines.
- Leverages AI-powered design and research tools to accelerate ideation, prototyping, and usability analysis.
- Any other reasonable activity required by management.
Required Skills:
- Mastery of design software like Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, etc.).
- Experience with AI-assisted design tools such as Figma AI, Adobe Firefly, or Uizard for rapid concept generation and prototyping.
- Familiarity with AI copiloting/code-generation tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or similar) for prototyping interactive components and bridging design-to-code handoff.
- Experience using generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney) for content drafting, UX copy, persona generation, or visual concept exploration.
- Understanding of AI-driven UX research and analytics tools (e.g., Maze, UserTesting AI, Hotjar AI, FigJam AI) for synthesizing usability findings and user feedback at scale.
- Ability to apply AI-based accessibility checkers (e.g., Stark, Adobe Firefly accessibility tools) to validate WCAG compliance.
