Job Summary
The Product Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the operations and strategic direction of a specific business unit within an organization. This role involves coordinating various functions to ensure the unit meets its objectives and contributes to the overall success of the company. The Product Manager is responsible for developing and implementing business plans, setting performance targets, and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive growth and profitability. Additionally, this role involves fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment with empowerment to achieve the full potential. The Product Manager serves as a liaison between the unit and senior management, providing regular updates on performance, challenges, and opportunities. Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and effective communication skills are essential for success in this role, as well as a deep understanding of the industry, market dynamics, and customer needs. The Product Manager must also possess strong analytical abilities to assess business performance and identify areas for improvement. Overall, this role requires a results-driven individual with a passion for driving business success.
Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic business plans for the assigned business unit.
  • Set performance targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure unit performance.
  • Monitor and analyze financial and operational performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Drive growth and profitability within the business unit through effective management and strategic decision-making.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the business unit and senior management, providing regular updates on performance, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members, ensuring alignment with company goals and values.
  • Effectively communicate business objectives, strategies, and performance results to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and operational efficiencies to enhance business unit performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support company-wide initiatives and achieve overall organizational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements within the business unit.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) may be preferred.
  • Several years of experience in business management, operations management, or a related field, with a track record of success in driving business growth and profitability.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and decision-making abilities, with a focus on long-term business planning and execution.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing strategic business plans to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business situations and develop effective solutions.
  • Experience in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes relevant to the assigned business unit.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business environments and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant business software applications.
