AfterQuery builds the data and evaluation systems that power frontier AI models. Every leading AI lab uses our datasets and reinforcement learning environments to encode and scale real-world expertise.

As a Product Manager, you’ll work across Engineering, Operations, and Research to identify the most important problems in the business and turn them into scalable products and systems.

You’ll own problems end-to-end — understanding user needs, deciding what should be built, working closely with engineers through execution, and making sure what we ship actually solves the underlying problem.

• Work closely with engineers, operators, and internal users to deeply understand their workflows and pain points

• Identify the highest-leverage product and infrastructure problems across the company

• Turn ambiguous problems into clear product direction and technical requirements

• Partner with Engineering to ship products and systems quickly

• Balance immediate business needs with long-term scalability and maintainability

• Own product areas end-to-end, from problem discovery through launch and iteration

• Use data, user feedback, and business context to prioritize what we build

• Help standardize and improve workflows as AfterQuery scales

• Strong technical fluency; prior experience in software engineering, ML, or data is a strong plus

• High ownership and ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments

• Strong product judgment and ability to identify the underlying problem behind user requests

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work across technical and operational teams

• Bias toward action and comfort moving quickly with incomplete information

• Strong user empathy and willingness to spend significant time understanding how people actually work

• Ability to synthesize fragmented feedback into clear priorities and product direction
