AI Product Manager
Location: Nashville or Boston (Hybrid)
About SynqueryThe world’s most valuable knowledge is locked inside experts’ heads, and accessing that insight has traditionally been manual, slow, and expensive. Synquery is changing this. We’re building a platform where AI agents autonomously find, recruit, match, and interview world-class experts—creating an end-to-end agentic pipeline for human knowledge that is otherwise unwritten. Our clients include top consulting firms, private equity investors, and research organizations, with a far-reaching addressable market.
We’re a small, rapidly moving team seeking an AI Product Manager to truly own part of the platform—getting close to the problem, writing requirements and docs, and then building the solution yourself. You’ll use AI tools daily, work closely with senior engineers and the CTO, and grow into someone who drives both product vision and technical execution.
If you’re early in your career and want to accelerate your growth, this is that opportunity.
What You'll OwnYou’ll take ownership for a core product surface based on your strengths and our evolving needs. Current areas include:
Expert sourcing and vetting: AI pipelines for finding and qualifying top experts
AI voice interviewer: autonomous interviews that extract and deliver insight
Client-facing platform: client portal UI and underlying AI-powered systems
Agent infrastructure: autonomous agents and pipelines powering the platform
Synthesis products: transforming transcripts into actionable intelligence
New surfaces: building tools from zero as we expand
Regardless of what you own, you’ll:
Build close relationships with users to uncover what really matters
Clearly document and define the right things to build, then execute rapidly
Ship working solutions and iterate fast
Engage with clients and users to understand pain points and needs
Turn insights into clear requirements and product specs
Build features, workflows, and agents using AI-assisted development (Claude Code, Cursor, etc.)
Collaborate with senior engineers and CTO through design/code reviews
Test and debug AI agents and understand/fix failure modes
Keep the team updated with clear, transparent communication
Heavy user of AI productivity tools: Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex, etc.
Technically comfortable: you can read code, write scripts, debug problems using AI
Quick to pick up new domains, stacks, and codebases
Clear, concise communicator—especially in written form
1–3 years of experience in product, software, consulting, or early-stage companies
Nice to have: experience with LLM APIs, consulting/research workflows, and familiarity with React, Node, or Python.
Where This GoesWe’re building infrastructure for a market in its infancy. Those who join Synquery now will help shape something truly new and will have opportunities for rapid growth and ownership. We want engineers who can communicate with clients, define products, and ship solutions all in the same day—and are committed to investing in your growth to get you there.
