- Develop process flows, integration plans, DOE strategies, and technical documentation.
- Support execution of customer programs from concept through prototype and production readiness.
- Interface with modeling, simulation, characterization, and test teams to accelerate development learning cycles.
- Analyze data and drive process optimization, yield improvement, and manufacturability.
- Coordinate activities across Process Engineering, Fab Operations, Quality, Manufacturing, and Program Management.
- Support planning and execution of E-Lots, S-Lots, and V-Lots.
- Ensure development activities maximize parallel execution and minimize cycle time.
- Support establishment of Process-of-Record (POR) candidates.
- Drive integration validation and manufacturability learning.
- Identify risks early and develop mitigation plans with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Lead lower-complexity programs or major workstreams.
- Participate in customer technical reviews and development planning.
- Support rapid prototyping strategies that accelerate transition to scalable production.
- Support 3–6 active customer programs simultaneously.
- Support execution of 30+ E-Lots, S-Lots, and V-Lots annually.
- >90% on-time closure of assigned technical action items.
- Technical reports within 5 business days of major lot completion.
- Contribute to establishment of validated POR candidates and integration plans.
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years (MS) or 3+ years (BS) semiconductor or MEMS fabrication experience.
- Knowledge of lithography, deposition, etch, wet processing, metrology, and semiconductor manufacturing fundamentals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to operate effectively within a high-mix MEMS foundry environment.
- U.S. Person as defined by ITAR
- Experience in MEMS, photonics, sensors, advanced packaging, or semiconductor foundries.
- Experience with COMSOL, Fusion 360, SimScale, Coventor, or equivalent modeling and simulation tools.
- Experience with electrical test, characterization, yield analysis, or failure analysis.
- Knowledge of JMP, SPC, DOE methodology, and statistical analysis.
- Programming experience using Python, MATLAB, or similar tools.
Skills Required
- Master's degree in Physics, Materials Science, Chemistry, or related field
- Hands-on experience in semiconductor fabrication
- Proficient in data analysis with strong critical thinking skills
- Working knowledge of SPC and JMP for data analysis
- Lean Six Sigma qualification
- Experience using COMSOL or similar modeling tools
- Background in electrical testing and yield analysis
