As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and optimizing fermentation and recovery processes to ensure stable production, efficient operations, and on‑time delivery to customers. You will work hands‑on with production teams while contributing to cost efficiency, sustainability initiatives, and continuous process improvement.
Your work will directly impact product performance, operational excellence, and the successful introduction of new products and technologies.
Your Key Responsibilities Include:- Supporting and optimizing fermentation and recovery production processes and equipment to ensure smooth operations and stable customer supply
- Driving process optimization initiatives to improve cost efficiency and sustainability, in close collaboration with local production teams and the global optimization network
- Managing and optimizing product Bill of Materials (BOM), yield performance, and process variance budgets
- Closely monitoring production performance and providing technical support and troubleshooting when needed
- Collaborating with global and local stakeholders to support successful new product introductions and site transfers
- Identifying process or equipment constraints, proposing technical solutions, and acting as User Manager for assigned CAPEX projects
- Master’s degree or PhD in Fermentation, Bioengineering, Biotechnology, or a related scientific discipline
- 2+ years of relevant experience in fermentation, recovery, or bioprocessing environments (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities efficiently in a manufacturing setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions
- A proactive team player with strong learning agility and curiosity
- Good English skills (spoken, written, and listening)
- A hands‑on technical role with clear impact on manufacturing performance and product quality
- Collaboration with local production teams and global experts in bioprocess optimization
