The Role

Job Description:

Process support and improvement:

  • Monitor and optimize Clearcoat, Thinner, E-coat process, Topcoat, Basecoat and Primer, review and update SOP and batch card to Operation safety.
  • Identity process improvement opportunity, lead CI project to enhance productivity, quality and capability.
  • Part in new product alignment, evaluation feasibility for equipment and process, define new product process request.
  • Establish and maintain PV information in the system.

Quality Responsibilities:

  • Investigation abnormal production and customer complaint to identify root cause and resolve.
  • Write and update related SOPs, batch card, PFMEA/CP, identify process key control point and training operators.
  • Implement process best practice.
  • Support IATF and other audit and finding improvement.

PSM Responsibilities:

  • Lead PHA.
  • Understand and learn related PSM element knowledge and request.
  • Insure to production process MOC according to standard requirement.

Any other duties as assigned.

Key Job Requirements:                                                                                                             

  • At least 3 Years chemical and related process technology experience, above 2 years coating PT experience.
  • The experience in production, process, technology of Clearcoat, Topcoat, Basecoat, Primer, E-coat and Thinner is preferred.
  • The experience in crater complaint RCFA investigation is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Chemical or related, good in both oral and written English with CET 4 or above is an advantage.
  • PFMEA/CP skill, 6 Sigma GB is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Skills Required

  • At least 3 years chemical and related process technology experience, including over 2 years coating process experience
  • Experience in production, process, technology of Clearcoat, Topcoat, Basecoat, Primer, E-coat and Thinner
  • Experience in crater complaint RCFA investigation
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Chemical or related field
  • Good oral and written English (CET 4 is an advantage)
  • PFMEA and control plan (CP) skills
  • Six Sigma Green Belt (6 Sigma GB)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong analysis, troubleshooting, communication, ownership, and proactive behavior
