Process Engineer

We're looking for a Process Engineer who will based onsite at the Bangplee Plant. You will be reporting to the Assistant Manager Engineering.

Main Responsibilities

• You will develop new and improve existing manufacturing methods to increase efficiency and improve quality

• Work together with Technical team to ensure existing formulation are optimize to increase efficiency and reduce operation cost.

• Ensure consistent operating practices. Oversee processes in detail and prepare the implementation plans to ensure the qualities are met.

• Be proficient in structured problem solving practices to drive root cause investigations for manufacturing related issues both internally and in the field

• Provide Subject Matter expertise to support improvement initiatives. Improve the present manufacturing or production processes to boost productivity, quality, and profitability for a company

• Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO9001, ISO14001 & EHS Management system is preferrable

• Work with the Operators to ensure equipment related performance issues are documented. Develop model quality maintenance work requests as a result of equipment trouble shooting and problem identification

• Leader for criticality analysis of equipment in area. Identify needs and resources for Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and appropriate level criteria

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and education background in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering is prefered

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in the related field

• You must be knowledgeable and experienced in the use of Business Process Improvement tools, including Lean, Sigma Logic. Good analytical skills and troubleshooting skill

• You are the primary manufacturing process, Ensures the attainment of consistent production procedures, quality procedures, and equivalent production equipment. Knowledgeable about customer requirements and works closely and continuously with the technical and marketing/service groups on product development, product launch activities and process problem solving

• Chemical engineering is plus with paint and coating experience is needed to perform successfully.

• Excellent communications skills, including presentation skills.
