  • Prepare and review process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), equipment specifications, and technical documentation.

  • Develop construction documents, drawings, reports, and specifications using engineering design tools such as AutoCAD, Plant 3D, and Revit.

  • Evaluate process equipment, piping systems, utilities, and control requirements to support safe, efficient, and reliable operations.

  • Review technical calculations, designs, construction submittals, shop drawings, and requests for information (RFIs).

  • Conduct facility evaluations, engineering studies, and process assessments to identify challenges and recommend improvements.

  • Apply applicable codes, permitting requirements, and industry standards, including GMP, FDA, and ISPE guidelines, throughout the design process.

Collaborate to Deliver Complex Projects

  • Work closely with mechanical, electrical, automation, architectural, and other engineering disciplines to develop coordinated process solutions.

  • Lead process discipline coordination, helping teams resolve technical challenges and maintain design quality.

  • Support project planning through scope development, fee calculations, technical documentation, and coordination of engineering deliverables.

  • Manage assigned design responsibilities, schedules, and priorities to support successful project delivery.

  • Communicate technical recommendations clearly to project teams, clients, equipment vendors, and contractors.

  • Provide engineering support during construction, commissioning, qualification, and validation (CQV) activities.

  • Build trusted client relationships by understanding operational needs and developing practical, technically sound solutions.

Guide and Develop Other Engineers
