Job DescriptionAnalysts/Associates take on a high level of responsibility early on in both transactions and business development. Analysts/Associates have substantive contact with management teams as they: conduct industry, financial, operating, and management due diligence on potential investment opportunities, prepare investment proposals, work with portfolio companies’ management to improve operations, and analyze/prepare potential divestitures.
Day to day responsibilities can include:
• Conducting financial analysis through extensive use of Excel
• Assisting in the preparation of investment proposals
• Analyzing industry and economic trends
• Monitoring portfolio companies’ financial and operating performance
• Investigating local country rules and regulations
• Sharing their viewpoint on the business issues
QualificationsSpecific qualifications include:
• High academic achievement
• Some due diligence, modeling and valuation experience
• Display maturity, attention to detail, initiative, and problem solving skills
• Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Good verbal & written communication skills
• Fully fluent in English and Portuguese
