Welcome to Dev-AI at Grab, where you'll transform developer productivity with AI tools. We are dedicated to enhancing the daily work of Grab engineers by implementing cutting-edge technology. We create in-house solutions and integrate third-party technologies to improve application development, testing, and automation. Our goal is to accelerate and improve the productivity of engineers across Grab.
Get to Know the Role
Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will collaborate with diverse teams to create AI tools that refine the engineering process. You will identify areas within the Software Development Lifecycle that can be optimized with AI assistance. Your role as a technical leader will involve defining and executing impactful AI initiatives across multiple teams. You'll need to recognize improvements and coordinating efforts to ensure scalability and coherence with Grab's objectives.
You will work onsite at Grab Singapore's office located at One-north.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- You will identify AI-driven solutions to reduce workload and improve efficiency for Grab engineers.
- You will manage complex AI projects, ensuring understanding of company goals.
- You will write code and implement plans that integrate AI tools into existing workflows to enhance productivity.
- You will coordinate efforts across teams to deploy scalable AI solutions.
- You will mentor and guide less experienced engineers, promoting a culture of learning and engineering excellence.
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- You have over 8 years of software development experience and a history of delivering successful solutions across teams.
- Experience with server-side programming languages like Go and frontend technology frameworks like React
- You possess practical experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure), compute technologies (e.g., Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
- You balance technical tasks with leadership duties, providing mentorship while writing code and planning executions.
- You have the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and drive projects from start to finish across teams.
- Experience communicating updates and resolutions to stakeholders effectively across different teams.
- You excel in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, prioritising high-quality outcomes.
