- Utilize L-Edit Software to design and create photomasks for MEMS and IC layout.
- Ensure accuracy, manufacturability, and compliance with process design rules.
- Contribute to yield improvement by incorporating feedback from process engineers.
- Tool health and predictive process management including daily SPC monitoring, Cpk improvement and troubleshooting process and tool issues
- New equipment/technology selection, installation, operational qualification, process qualification and tool matching.
- Improve process robustness through characterization and DOE’s.
- Collaborate to standardize equipment recipes, processes, and layers (multi-step) to reduce complexity / cost and reduce development lead time and effort
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
- 2+ years of relevant industry experience
- Experience with CAD tools such as L-Edit, KLayout, and SolidWorks
- Courses in VLSI design
- Hands-on experience using mask aligner, steppers, and automated coat tracks
- Strong Knowledge of Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) or semiconductor photolithography processes
- Comfortable working in cross-functional teams (process, product, test)
