Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft / Oracle Developer to join a critical enterprise program of work in Sydney.
In this technical role, you will be responsible for the development, enhancement, and optimization of core PeopleSoft application modules. You will combine expertise in PeopleTools and PeopleCode with Oracle database tuning capabilities to ensure system stability, optimal query performance, and seamless business capability delivery.
Key Responsibilities
PeopleSoft Application Development: Design, develop, unit test, and document customized PeopleSoft application features and modules.
Database Performance & Optimization: Conduct performance analysis, query tuning, index optimization, and troubleshooting on enterprise Oracle databases (12c and higher).
Technical Delivery: Review technical specs, troubleshoot batch/online process issues, and adhere to best-practice development standards.
PeopleTools & Customization: Develop and maintain business logic, custom components, pages, and integrations using PeopleTools and PeopleCode.
System Integration: Support data integration pipelines, interfaces, and system uplift activities across the core Oracle/PeopleSoft landscape.
Mandatory Requirements:
PeopleSoft Development Expertise: Minimum of 5 years’ experience operating as a PeopleSoft Applications Developer within large-scale enterprise environments.
Oracle Database & Tuning: Minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience in Oracle database development (Oracle 12c or higher), including SQL/PL-SQL performance analysis, query tuning, and system troubleshooting.
Core Tooling Mastery: At least 5 years’ dedicated experience working with PeopleCode and PeopleTools.
