As a Payroll Specialist II, you will play a critical role in continuing the healing mission of Deaconess.

Job Overview:

This position is responsible for the administration of the day-to-day payroll operations and accuracy of the payroll systems to deliver bi-weekly payrolls to all Deaconess employees. The Payroll Specialist II will conduct a wide variety of payroll related processing and activities for multiple types of regular and special payrolls. Will also act as a primary point of contact with employees for payroll questions and issues. May also support the financial needs of all of the other hospital departments as assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Accounting software, Human Resource systems, Payroll systems, and Microsoft Office including advanced formula functions (VLookups, Pivot Tables, etc)
• Ability to maintain integrity and confidentiality of employee data and established data systems
• Customer-focused attitude and excellent communication skills with high level of professionalism and discretion
