Oracle PL/SQL - APEX Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Oracle PL/SQL & APEX Engineer to design and deliver secure, scalable, high-performing enterprise applications. You will join a collaborative software engineering team working on mission-critical solutions and complex business processes. 

In this role, you will contribute across the full software development lifecycle—from requirements and solution design through development, testing, release, and production support—with a strong focus on Oracle Database, PL/SQL, Oracle APEX, integration, performance, and maintainability.

What you'll do 

• Translate business requirements into secure, scalable solutions. 

• Design, build and maintain Oracle PL/SQL and APEX applications. 

• Develop integrations using RESTful services, ORDS, SOAP and related middleware technologies. 

• Resolve production issues and protect data integrity. 

• Support reviews, testing, releases, and documentation. 

• Evaluate tools, including AI-assisted engineering practices. 

• Mentor team members through technical guidance and knowledge sharing. 

• Communicate with customers to align requirements and delivery. 

Requirements 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 

• Five years of software engineering experience, including three with Oracle technologies. 

• Strong Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and performance-tuning expertise. 

• Proven Oracle APEX development and customization experience. 

• Solid knowledge of database design, data integrity, transactions, and secure coding. 

• Experience with REST APIs, ORDS and SOAP. 

• Familiarity with automated testing, version control, and modern delivery practices. 

• Experience with responsible AI coding tools, such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code. 

• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills. 

Nice to Have 

• Experience with Oracle Autonomous Database or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. 

• Experience with business intelligence, reporting, or Oracle BI Publisher.
