Job Description
Role: Oracle Functional Business Analyst – Source to Pay (S2P) / Procure-To-Pay (P2P)
Location: SFO, CA
Duration: 6+ months
Description:
- As a member of Finance Operations team, The Oracle EBS Business Analyst will work with Finance IT PMO to partner with Twitter Finance Biz team for delivering various Global Large initiatives/projects and enhancement asks for the Twitter Financials Systems.
- This group is responsible for working on new projects for the Finance Org as well as supporting, maintaining, and delivering enhancements of the Oracle E-Business Suite Applications R12 as asked by the biz teams.
Required Skill Sets:
- Proficient in using both Waterfall and the AGILE Project approach
- Subject Matter expertise in S2P area - iProc, PO & AP modules
- Must have done at least 3 S2P project implementations
Soft Skills:
- Good communication and business skills
- Deep understanding of the business process
- Ability to create business process flow and functional specifications/user stories
- Unit testing, troubleshooting, validation, support business users in UAT testing
- Ability to assist with validation cycles with users, support creation of scenarios, and create training materials
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Proven record and experience in user facing / user facing role. Must have interacted handled higher level users
Responsibilities:
- The Oracle Applications Business Analyst will work on several key tasks but not be limited to the following:
- The Oracle EBS Business Analyst will provide primary support for Oracle S2P modules with in-depth focus on in iProc, PO & AP functions.
- Work on Key Business Process Reengineering projects
- Work closely with Business Users to scope and draft business and functional requirements and then write the user stories.
- Help Users create test cases, use cases and assist with the testing- IT certification and the UAT.
- Provide the period close support
- Ability to debug/triage the system for certain behavior of the features and explain it to the Users.
- Perform fit/gap analysis to evaluate each functional area in a business process to achieve specific goals
- Support and Create ad hoc reports as per the requirements using Twitter BI tool for the S2P and Finance org.
- Mentor Biz users as needed on their system needs.
- Provide End User Support and Training
- Ensure that all I.T. requirements (documentation, sign-off, and approvals) are completed as per the BRD
- Provide timely and effective reporting on status of projects
- Participate in the daily/weekly stand up meetings
Differentiator:
- Knowledge in EBTax, GL, FA, CM & Inventory
- Working knowledge in any integration projects with Oracle EBS
- Knowledge in advance procurement modules like iSupplier Portal
- Accounting background

- Strong experience of working with Finance business users and charting business process flows.
- Independent worker, but excellent team skills when needed
