In this role, you will help create the structure behind meaningful clinical and experiential learning opportunities for students in health professions, nursing, and pharmacy. You will work closely with students, faculty, preceptors, and clinical partners to keep rotations, agreements, records, evaluations, and operational processes moving forward accurately and efficiently.

What You’ll Do

As part of the Office of Experiential Education, you will:

  • Coordinate required and elective student rotations and clinical placements.
  • Maintain affiliation agreements with experiential and clinical education sites.
  • Develop and maintain databases containing site, preceptor, affiliate faculty, and program requirement information.
  • Track required documentation and help ensure records are complete and current.
  • Build and improve workflows that support efficient Office of Experiential Education operations.
  • Communicate with students and preceptors about schedules, changes, requirements, and next steps.
  • Prepare reports and support program evaluations associated with accreditation standards.
  • Help identify better ways to organize information, streamline processes, and support the students and partners who rely on the office.
Who Will Thrive in This Role?

You may be a strong fit if you:

  • Take pride in accuracy, follow-through, and meeting deadlines.
  • Enjoy organizing detailed information and coordinating multiple priorities.
  • Look for ways to improve processes rather than simply maintain them.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with a wide range of people.
  • Remain responsive and solution-focused when schedules or priorities change.
  • Value teamwork and understand how dependable behind-the-scenes work contributes to student success.
  • Can hold yourself and others accountable for completing required information and meeting established expectations.
  • Want to work in a collaborative environment where your contributions are visible and valued.
Qualifications

A high school diploma and administrative or clerical experience are required. A bachelor’s degree is preferred. Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office, the ability to learn and navigate software systems, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills, careful attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple responsibilities, and a commitment to collaborative, team-based outcomes.

The successful candidate must also be able to interact effectively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders and demonstrate a commitment to professional development and an inclusive environment for students, faculty, and staff.

Schedule and Location

This is a full-time position based at Manchester University’s Fort Wayne campus. The regular schedule is 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, with occasional additional hours or schedule changes.

Why Manchester?

Manchester offers the chance to do meaningful work in a small, independent university community where relationships matter. You will join colleagues who care about students, value collaboration, and recognize the importance of thoughtful, reliable work.

Eligible employees receive a total rewards package that supports professional growth and life outside of work, including:

  • Four week of paid time off annually
  • Health and wellness benefits
  • Retirement benefits
  • Professional development opportunities
  • Tuition remission opportunities for eligible employees and qualifying family members, subject to University policy and eligibility requirements
