Periodic travel to customer and contract locations
Location
Remote with the ability to be flexible based on business needs; must support a geographically dispersed portfolio
Prime Response, Inc. (PRI) is seeking a proactive, growth-oriented Operations Program Manager to lead a diverse portfolio of federal and commercial service contracts and support broader Operations initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished Project Manager who is ready to take the next step into Program Management. The ideal candidate has successfully led people, customers, and multiple projects or workstreams and is ready for broader portfolio ownership and enterprise-level responsibility.
We are looking for someone who takes initiative, anticipates problems, operates effectively with limited direction, and brings recommended solutions when challenges arise. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a balance of customer service, people leadership, contract execution, workforce management, and continuous improvement.
· Own day-to-day performance across an assigned portfolio of projects, contracts, and customer locations.
· Serve as a primary operational point of contact for customers, partners, site leadership, employees, and internal stakeholders.
· Lead geographically dispersed teams with clear expectations, accountability, coaching, and follow-through.
· Monitor contract requirements, deliverables, staffing, quality, training, safety, access requirements, and customer commitments.
· Identify risks and problems early, take appropriate action, and communicate the facts, impact, actions taken, and recommended path forward.
· Develop staffing plans, recruiting pipelines, onboarding strategies, backfill plans, and succession coverage for assigned programs.
· Partner with Recruiting and HR on candidate selection, onboarding, employee development, performance management, and workforce issues.
· Build strong customer relationships through regular communication, site engagement, transparency, and responsive problem-solving.
· Use metrics, trackers, dashboards, and recurring reviews to monitor performance and drive accountability.
· Develop and improve SOPs, checklists, workflows, and management tools that improve consistency and reduce recurring problems.
· Support new contract startups, transitions, stabilization efforts, and other cross-program Operations initiatives.
· Collaborate with Contracts, Finance, HR, Recruiting, Security, Quality, and company leadership.
· Five or more years of progressive project, operations, or program management experience with responsibility for people, customers, schedules, and outcomes.
· Demonstrated success managing multiple projects, locations, customers, or concurrent workstreams.
· Direct supervisory experience, including coaching, performance management, staffing decisions, and resolution of workplace issues.
· Experience in logistics, facilities support, mail operations, warehousing, transportation, administrative services, customer operations, or another labor-intensive service environment.
· Strong customer-facing communication skills and the judgment to represent the company independently.
· Ability to prioritize competing requirements, identify risk, make sound decisions, and drive work to completion with limited direction.
· Demonstrated ability to diagnose problems, identify root causes, recommend practical solutions, and follow through on corrective actions.
· Strong Microsoft 365 skills, particularly Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
· Ability to periodically travel to support geographically dispersed operations.
· U.S. work authorization and ability to meet customer-specific background, security, access, or suitability requirements.
Requirements Preferred Qualifications
· Experience supporting federal government contracts or subcontracts, particularly Department of Defense or civilian-agency operations.
· Working knowledge of PWS/SOW requirements, deliverables, labor categories, Service Contract Act requirements, quality control, training compliance, or government access and badging.
· Experience supporting contract startup, transition, stabilization, recompete, or recovery efforts.
· Experience recruiting, onboarding, or developing staffing pipelines for operational positions.
· Bachelor's degree in business, operations, logistics, management, public administration, or a related field. Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
· PMP, CAPM, Lean Six Sigma, change management, quality management, or comparable professional training or certification.
· Experience with applicant tracking, project management, work-control, CAFM, ERP, CRM, or business-intelligence systems.
· Active or recently active security clearance.
You may be a strong Project Manager today who is ready for a larger challenge. You are likely someone who:
· Takes ownership instead of waiting for step-by-step direction.
· Brings solutions, not just problems.
· Builds trust with customers and employees while holding people accountable.
· Can move comfortably between frontline operational details and broader business priorities.
· Communicates clearly and concisely when leadership needs a decision or recommendation.
· Sees recurring problems as opportunities to improve the underlying process.
· Wants to grow beyond managing individual projects into broader program and Operations leadership.
