You know your way around OpenShift and enjoy making complex container platforms actually run in production? Our client, a Swiss provider of sovereign AI infrastructure and agentic AI solutions, is expanding its customer success team and is looking for an engineer who can take ownership of OpenShift topics end to end. You will work directly with enterprise customers who are moving their workloads onto a AI platform, and you will be the person who solves the problems that come up along the way.
- Setup, configuration and operation of OpenShift environments for customer specific deployments
- Support during customer onboarding, including migrations from legacy virtualisation platforms
- Troubleshooting and second level support for platform and deployment issues
- Documentation and structuring of recurring processes and solutions
- Close collaboration with the in house engineering team on platform topics
- Depending on your seniority, technical lead responsibility within customer projects
Requirements
- Experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes in a production environment
- Good knowledge of containerisation, networking and Linux
- Familiar with troubleshooting across infrastructure and application layers
- 1 to 2 years of professional experience
- Structured and self reliant way of working
- Fluent in English
Optional:
- Red Hat OpenShift certification
- German or Swiss German
- Experience with migrations from VMware to OpenShift
- French
Benefits
- Start: as soon as possible
- Workload: 80-100%
- Duration: at least 6 months, option for extension
- Location: Remote within Switzerland, approx. 2 days per month on-site in the Basel region (offices in Zurich and Pfäffikon also available)
