Job Description:-
• Skills, Capabilities & Qualifications
o ANSI C experience
o Unix/Linux experience
o Oracle database experience
o Shel script, PERL and AWK, a plus
o IBM Websphere MQ, a plus
o EDIFACT experience, a plus
o Airline Industry experience, a plus
o Ability to take on periodic (e.g. once every 5-7 weeks) 24x7 on-call responsibilities
o Ability to work effectively as part of a team
o Ability to effectively interact with teams supporting critical, large-scale applications on other platforms
o Strong sense of dedication and responsibility to the Open Systems team and the applications is supports
• Application Support
o Possess (over time) a comprehensive understanding of the Open Systems and Travel Security related applications.
o Serve as a focal point for functional or technical issues involving the Open Systems applications.
o Create and/or review project Estimates, Requirements Documentation, Technical Design Documentation, Test Plans and Implementation Plans.
