Position Summary

The Director of Finance will lead Odorzx Inc.’s accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and effective financial processes across the business. This role requires a detail-oriented leader who can oversee day-to-day accounting, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and team management while partnering closely with senior leadership to inform strategic decisions. 

**Please note that this is an in office position. Any applicants living outside of Nevada will not be considered.**

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow) in accordance with GAAP.
  • Ensure timely and accurate closing processes.
  • Manage tax compliance and reporting obligations.

Accounting Operations

  • Oversee general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and fixed assets.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls.
  • Coordinate external audits and support audit requests.

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting cycles.
  • Analyze financial results, variances, trends, and key KPIs.
  • Provide actionable insights to drive business decisions.

Team Leadership

  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
  • Promote process improvements and training to elevate team performance.

Strategic Partnership

  • Collaborate with senior executives on financial planning, long-term strategy, and operational efficiency.
  • Support strategic initiatives with financial analysis and modeling.

Requirements

Qualifications

Education & Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA strongly preferred
  • Master’s degree or advanced coursework a plus.

Experience

  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Proven leadership experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and team management.
  • Experience implementing and refining accounting systems and controls.

Skills

  • Deep knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices.
  • Advanced Excel and financial ERP system proficiency.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
