Location: Central - Manheim PA
Hours Commitment: Full time - 40-45 hours per week 
 
Objective: Provide strategic leadership, vision, and oversight for the development of Next Gen content experiences across kidMinistry and Student Ministry. This role exists to create engaging, culturally relevant, developmentally appropriate, and mission-aligned content strategies that equip campuses to lead students and kids toward becoming fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee a unified Next Gen content strategy that aligns with LCBC’s mission, values, and teaching direction.
  • Lead the creative and strategic planning process for Next Gen teaching series, ministry initiatives, and key experiences across kidMinistry and Student Ministry.
  • Collaborate with campus teams and central ministries to create engaging, scalable, and developmentally appropriate content for all Next Gen environments.
  • Lead teams responsible for curriculum strategy, programming elements, messaging, games, storytelling, and digital engagement.
  • Ensure all Next Gen content effectively connects biblical truth with the realities of current culture and the lives of kids, students, and families.  
  • Stay informed on cultural trends, digital behaviors, and ministry best practices to help Next Gen ministries remain relevant and effective.
  • Partner with Communications and Creative teams to develop videos, social media content, teaching support materials, and key initiative campaigns.
  • Serve as a creative and strategic visionary for major Next Gen initiatives, retreats, events, and leadership development experiences.
  • Build systems and processes that improve communication, collaboration, consistency, and content delivery across campuses. 
  • Equip and support campus staff by providing resources, coaching, and strategic guidance for implementing Next Gen content effectively. 

Required Skills:

  • Proven ability to develop long-term strategy and identify trends in culture, ministry, and Next Gen engagement.
  • Strong understanding of child and student developmental phases and how they shape communication and discipleship.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to lead creative processes while balancing vision, execution, and scalability across multiple campuses.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across departments and ministry teams.
  • Strong customer service mindset with a heart to support campuses and volunteers.
  • Experience leading creative teams, content development, or teaching strategy preferred.

Evaluation:  
The Central Next Gen Content Strategy Director will meet regularly with the Central Director of Next Gen for planning, goal-setting, progress updates, and general coaching. A formal Action and Development Plan will be completed and reviewed three times throughout the year.
