Job Summary/Description:

WILX-TV has an opportunity for an ambitious and talented Multi-Media Journalist. You'll be covering major Sports and News stories in a capital city adjacent to a Big 10 University.

Duties/Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

• Write news/sports stories, shoot and edit content that grabs the viewer's attention• Contribute story ideas• Cover Breaking News and Sports• Digital savvy storyteller• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Excellent writing skills• Reliable news judgment• Ability to meet deadlines under pressure• Possess a positive and 'can-do' attitude• Ability to shoot and edit video is a must• Flexibility with evolving or changing operational needs• Ability to write news stories, shoot, and edit content that grabs the viewer's attention• Must have good communication skills• Have an aptitude for social media
