ACI is a Woman-Owned Small Business professional services provider of engineering and technical services to the United States Government. We seek an experienced, Network Operations Specialist to serve as a part of the Government Programs team providing comprehensive IT service capability to support the U.S. Army Transportation Command's (ARTRANS) global C4ISR and distribution operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
As an ACI Network Operations Specialist, you will have opportunities to interface with senior level customers, Warfighters, and leadership while performing the following functions:
- Work with a team of Engineers to architect and deliver AWS and AZURE solutions.
- Perform migration, modernization of custom developed applications, products to an enterprise cloud environment, including product CI/CD pipelines.
- Utilize proper design principles to create and model databases ensuring their efficacy.
- Work with the customer to integrate PaaS cloud architectures into their existing environment and edge architectures.
- Work with the Software Engineers to ensure that the architecture will meet requirements of the proposed applications.
- Provide support for troubleshooting and administration.
- Ensure security compliance in deployed architectures.
- Conduct audits of customer current architecture solutions and recommend changes as needed to meet requirements.
- Provide expertise in high availability, contingency planning, and automated provisioning.
- Support and advise customer on cloud initiatives including assessment, migration and modernization.

Required Qualifications
- Because this role requires a DOD security clearance, all applicants must provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
- Must possess or have the ability to obtain a DOD secret Clearance.
- Related degree fields include Computer Science, Cyber Security, Data Science, Information Systems Technology, and Software Engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and five years of relevant experience.
- Master's degree in a related field and no experience
- Security+ certification or obtain within 90 days of employment.
- Certified AWS Cloud Practitioner, or Azure Fundamentals within 90 days of employment.
- 2+ years’ AWS/AZURE experience in a solutions delivery or administrative role.
- 2+ years’ experience with cloud frameworks, services, and technologies.
- Data Security and encryption techniques.
- Familiar with cloud service delivery models.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience working with stakeholders and development teams.
- Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing to convey IT and cloud technologies.
- Experience developing, maintaining, and contributing to technical documentation.
- Ability to travel to customer locations and supporting customer engagement locations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Native AWS experience preferred
- 2+ years’ experience working within a DevSecOps/DevOps environment, utilizing AWS or AZURE services, solutions, and provisioning/automating infrastructure, services, and tools in a DoD environment.
- Certified Architecture Associate for AWS or AZURE.
- Cloud Database Services and Architecture.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Ansible automation.
- Experience and Proficiency with SQL
- Ability to work within a collaborative, geographically dispersed team in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
