Job Description

• Designs, supports, maintains, and evaluates computer networking systems in a fast-paced manufacturing facility
• Maintains services and monitoring systems running on Linux & Microsoft servers
• Research / evaluate new networking technologies
• Stay current regarding new HW & SW products to enhance systems
• Conform to corporate change-control and security policies
• Maintain outstanding LAN / WAN / VPN design & installation docs

Qualifications

• Associates Degree required (Bachelors or higher preferred)
• CCNA (or equivalent) required, CCNP/CCIE preferred
• 5+ years of Network Engineering experience
• Strong experience with the following…..
• Cisco IOS / Cisco NX-OS
• Cisco ASA
• F5 Big IP
• Firewalls, NAT, ACLs
• 1GE, 10GE, 802.1q, 802.11g, 802.1x, EAP-TLS, PEAP-MSCHAPv2, Spanning-Tree, VTP, Netflow, EIGRP, IPSec / SSL VPN, VPC, VDC, SAN, blade-switches, cluster computing
• HTTP & HTTPS, NFS, CIFS, Hadoop, Citrix, RDP, SMTP, DNS, SSH, SYSLOG, TACACS

Skills Required

Associate degree

5+ years of network engineering experience
Strong experience with Cisco IOS and Cisco NX-OS

Strong experience with firewalls, NAT, and ACLs
Experience with enterprise networking, routing, switching, VPN, security, server, storage, and infrastructure protocols listed in the job description
