Sr. UI Programmer to develop and maintain Insurance applications
Primary duties & responsibilities consist of:
- Position will collaborate with internal clients, managers and developers in a team environment.
- Execute projects from initial concept through delivery.
- Application design and development.
- Assist in troubleshooting of final code.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required:
- C#
- User interface design and development
- WPF with MvvM
- ASP.Net MVC
- Web UI (HTML 5, CSS3, jQuery, LESS, KnockOut, Bootstrap, AngularJS)
- Rules-based development
- Object oriented design and programming
- Common building blocks and design patterns
- Problem-solving algorithms
Strongly Preferred:
- Prism, caliburn.micro, or other WPF framework
Other nice to have experience:
- Telerik/Kendo Controls
- Responsive design
- TDD
- NCalc
- Automated Testing
- Refactoring
- Insurance Industry
Contract to Permanent (C2P) opportunity.
6m contract to hire.
QualificationsEducation & Work Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of .net and database experience required.
