About Autonomize AI

Autonomize AI is revolutionizing healthcare by streamlining knowledge workflows with AI. We reduce administrative burdens and elevate outcomes, empowering professionals to focus on what truly matters — improving lives. We're growing fast and looking for bold, driven teammates to join us.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a National Accounts Director to own growth and expansion across some of Autonomize’s largest and most strategic enterprise customers.
The foundation is already there: we have contracts and active relationships with these organizations. Your job is to turn those footholds into enterprise-wide partnerships.

You’ll get inside the account — literally and figuratively. You’ll spend time with customers, walk the hallways, understand how their businesses operate, map relationships and decision-makers, and uncover the problems that matter most. You’ll connect those challenges to Autonomize’s AI capabilities, develop compelling business cases, and build pursuit plans that translate opportunity into revenue.

This is a quota-carrying, highly consultative growth role. We’re looking for someone who combines the structured thinking and curiosity of a management consultant with the commercial instincts and urgency of an enterprise seller. You know how to earn executive trust, navigate complex organizations, uncover whitespace, and mobilize internal and external teams around an opportunity.

Success means making Autonomize increasingly strategic and indispensable to our customers — expanding from an initial use case into multiple workflows, business units, and long-term enterprise partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • National Account Ownership: Own the commercial growth strategy for a portfolio of Autonomize’s largest enterprise customers, carrying a quota tied to expansion and revenue growth.

  • Account & Relationship Mapping: Develop a deep understanding of each customer’s organizational structure, strategic priorities, existing Autonomize footprint, key decision-makers, influencers, champions, and potential blockers. Build multi-threaded relationships well beyond the initial buyer.

  • Strategic Pursuit Planning: Build and execute account-specific pursuit plans that identify whitespace, prioritize high-value opportunities, establish executive engagement strategies, and create clear paths from initial discovery through commercial expansion.

  • Customer Discovery: Spend meaningful time inside customer organizations to understand how work actually gets done. Identify operational pain points, workflow inefficiencies, strategic initiatives, and unmet needs through thoughtful discovery with business, clinical, operational, technology, data/AI, and executive stakeholders.

  • Solution & Value Alignment: Translate customer challenges into opportunities for Autonomize. Partner with Product, Clinical AI, Delivery, and Solutions teams to align our capabilities to customer priorities and develop compelling solution narratives, business cases, and ROI models.

  • Executive Engagement: Build credibility and trusted relationships with C-suite and senior leaders while maintaining strong connections with the operational teams closest to the work. Move comfortably from enterprise strategy conversations to detailed workflow discussions.

  • Expansion & Deal Leadership: Turn identified opportunities into commercial outcomes. Lead expansion opportunities through solution development, executive alignment, proposal, negotiation, procurement, contracting, and close.

  • Value Realization: Understand the outcomes Autonomize is delivering within existing deployments and use those results to build the case for broader adoption. Partner closely with Delivery and Customer Success while maintaining clear ownership of the commercial relationship and expansion strategy.

  • Cross-Functional Orchestration: Mobilize the right Autonomize resources around each account. Create clarity across Growth, Product, Clinical AI, Delivery, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership on priorities, owners, next steps, and the path to expansion.

  • Market & Customer Intelligence: Bring insights from strategic accounts back into Autonomize to influence product priorities, positioning, GTM strategy, and repeatable expansion playbooks across our customer base.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 8–12+ years in strategic account management, enterprise growth, business development, management consulting, or enterprise sales within healthcare or another complex, regulated industry.

  • Demonstrated success expanding large enterprise accounts and carrying a meaningful revenue quota.

  • Proven ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder organizations and build relationships across executive, business, operational, clinical, and technical functions.

  • Strong consultative skill set — able to diagnose business problems, structure ambiguous opportunities, develop hypotheses, build business cases, and translate insights into action.

  • Experience developing and executing sophisticated account plans and pursuit strategies across large enterprise customers.

  • Strong executive presence with the ability to earn credibility quickly and influence senior decision-makers.

  • Commercial discipline — comfortable with pipeline management, forecasting, negotiation, contracting, and accountability to revenue outcomes.

  • Ability to understand technology and AI solutions deeply enough to connect capabilities to customer workflows and business outcomes.

  • Willingness to travel frequently and spend meaningful time on-site with strategic customers. This is not a relationship-management-from-Zoom role.

  • Cultural alignment: Full-Stack Ownership, Operate in the Final Mile, Move with Purpose, Build Trust Daily, Compound Your Impact, and Customer at the Core.

Bonus Points

  • Experience working with or selling into large health plans, PBMs, providers, or other national healthcare enterprises.

  • Background in management consulting, enterprise transformation, or strategic advisory.

  • Experience with AI, healthcare SaaS, workflow automation, or enterprise digital transformation.

  • Track record of taking a successful initial deployment or use case and expanding it across multiple business units, workflows, or geographies.

  • Deep understanding of healthcare workflows and the operational challenges facing large healthcare enterprises.

What We Offer

  • The opportunity to expand AI partnerships with some of the largest and most influential healthcare enterprises in the country.

  • Autonomy, ownership, and the ability to directly influence Autonomize’s growth strategy.

  • Competitive base salary + commission + accelerators.

  • Equity participation aligned with impact and contribution.

  • 100% employer-paid health, vision, and dental insurance.

  • Retirement plans (401k), disability insurance, and employee assistance programs.

  • A fast-moving, mission-driven environment with significant opportunity to grow as Autonomize scales.
