Job Description:
General Function:
Lead team to take full responsibility to support the customers with an agile high qualified service by managing reliable production planning and material planning.
Essential Responsibilities:
External:
- Keep close relationships with the customers to ensure a better understanding of the demands, plan the customer forecast wisely to drive a sustainable cost, deliver a sustainable and reliable customer OTS.
- Works closely with the suppliers and other division to ensure reliable material on time delivery, avoid the warehouse and production interruptions.
- Monitor the customer and supplier capacity, align and manage the resource demand ahead, raise suggestions to solve issues.
Internal:
- Provide a consistent and stable production planning to fulfill the customer demand as expected, make plan to maximize the utilization of production resource and minimize the cost impact.
- Works closely together with Sales, Program/Project Management, Process to make sure the new demands or changes are fulfilled as expected.
- Overall manage the capacity, monitor the capacity utilization regularly, raise capacity demand ahead to prevent delivery risk.
- Manage the production direct labor requirement to support the customer demand with a highly effective utilization.
- Manage the inventory in healthy to meet target, minimize the obsolete cost.
- Maintain data integrity in Oracle system.
- Coordinate with cross functions to solve the obstacles.
Basic Qualifications:
EDUCATION
Must hold a College Degree, a University Degree is preferred.
EXPERIENCE
- American or European owned company work background is required.
- Do well in written and listening English, good oral communication is better.
- At least three years of working experience to lead a team, have strong communication and coordination ability.
- Minimum five years of experience in Material Plan and Production Plan or related, better to have knowledge in Purchase and Customer Service.
- Prefer good planning logic and operation with Oracle, SAP related experience will be a minimum requirement.
- Skillful excel operation is mandatory, can handle comprehensive analysis fluently.
- Be able to use PPT to do analysis and presentation.
