Motion & Visual Designer (AI-Native)

Freelancer.com connects over 90 million people to work across the globe. We're looking for a motion and visual designer (AI-Native) who can make all of it feel like magic: the content people stop scrolling for, the brand they remember, and the product they use every day.

We want someone who lives in the new tools, makes work that has other designers asking how you did it, and moves between a TikTok, a launch campaign and a landing page in the same week without dropping the bar. Motion is your native language. AI is already part of how you work every day, not something you're curious about.

We're a fourteen-time Webby winner and the world's largest freelancing marketplace. You'll sit in a small, sharp creative team alongside our content lead and product designers, with real ownership of how Freelancer looks and moves.

• Lead motion across Freelancer: social, campaigns, brand and product
• Create social-first motion content for TikTok, Reels and Shorts that people actually stop for
• Design high-impact landing pages, feature launches and in-app moments, then bring them to life with motion
• Shape brand assets and push how our brand looks and moves in a fast-moving AI space
• Use AI image, video, 3D and code tools to explore faster, prototype bolder and produce work that wasn't possible a year ago
• Build motion systems and templates so the team moves fast without losing quality
• Take ideas from rough concept to polished, shipped work in days, not weeks

• A personal portfolio website that shows off your best work (this is a must; Behance, Dribbble, or PDF portfolios alone won't be considered)
• Range: social, brand and UI work in one portfolio, all at a high level
• Motion that feels crafted, with great timing, easing and storytelling, not just things that move
• A sharp eye for typography, colour, composition and layout
• The ability to take a plain interface and make it look award-worthy: standout screens, landing pages and product visuals
• Hands-on fluency with AI creative, image, video and motion tools, and a point of view on where they help and where they don’t
• Mastery of After Effects and Figma, with Photoshop and Illustrator in your kit
• A feel for social and what makes a brand worth following
• Bonus: you're part creative technologist. You've built with Rive, Lottie, Spline or Three.js, or vibe-coded your own prototypes

Your portfolio is the first thing we open, and if it doesn't stand out, we won't get to your CV. Lead with your best work, and if you've made a product or interface look beautiful, include that too.
