Responsible for planning, designing, optimizing, and assuring end-to-end transport networks supporting 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop HLD and LLD solutions for microwave, IP/MPLS, optical, and enterprise transport networks.
- Perform microwave path planning, link-budget calculations, frequency planning, interference analysis, and capacity dimensioning.
- Audit transport network capacity, configuration, quality, resilience, and performance.
- Monitor KPIs such as utilization, throughput, latency, jitter, packet loss, availability, and congestion.
- Troubleshoot performance issues and provide optimization and capacity-expansion recommendations.
- Design and validate QoS, redundancy, route diversity, and synchronization solutions.
- Support rollout, modernization, migration, acceptance, and service-readiness activities.
- Coordinate with RAN, Core, IP, Optical, and Operations teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical, Electronics, Computer, or related Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of 2G/3G/4G/5G transport architecture, including fronthaul, midhaul, and backhaul.
- Experience in microwave and mobile transport planning and optimization.
- Proficiency with Ellipse, Atoll, Pathloss, or similar planning tools.
- Good knowledge of TCP/IP, Ethernet, VLAN, MPLS, routing, QoS, and traffic engineering.
- Hands-on experience with transport NMS/EMS and RAN OSS platforms such as NCE, NSP, ENM, NetAct, or iMaster.
- Knowledge of microwave, routing, switching, optical transport, SyncE, PTP, and NTP.
- Experience in GIS, KPI analysis, time-series data, probes, and benchmarking tools.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and reporting skills.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Preferred
- Knowledge of RAN and Core Networks.
- Experience in forecasting, anomaly detection, automation, Python, SQL, Power BI, or Grafana.
- Relevant Cisco, Juniper, Nokia, Huawei, or Ericsson certification.
