JWay Group is seeking an experienced, AI-native Engineer with strong foundations in software development, data engineering, and system architecture. This role focuses on building and deploying production-ready AI solutions across financial services, healthcare, and enterprise environments.
The ideal candidate combines hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), sound engineering judgment, and the ability to independently lead AI projects from concept to deployment. You will work directly with clients, solve complex business challenges, and develop reliable AI applications that deliver measurable results.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end AI product development, from requirements gathering and prototyping to production deployment and continuous improvement.
- Design, develop, and integrate LLM-based applications, intelligent workflows, document processing systems, and automation solutions.
- Build and maintain data pipelines, including data ingestion, modeling, ETL processes, and system integrations.
- Evaluate AI model performance, conduct error analysis, and implement testing and evaluation frameworks to improve reliability.
- Collaborate directly with clients and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and development priorities.
- Monitor application performance, user analytics, and operational metrics to guide product improvements.
- Implement security best practices, including authentication, access controls, secrets management, and sensitive data protection.
- Manage cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, application reliability, and deployment costs.
- Prepare technical documentation, communicate project progress, and share engineering knowledge with internal teams and clients.
- Strong programming, debugging, software architecture, and system design skills.
- Proven experience developing and deploying LLM-based applications used in real-world production environments.
- Hands-on experience with AI development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or similar AI-assisted engineering platforms.
- Solid understanding of data engineering, data modeling, ETL, and workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, or Inngest.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including deployment, monitoring, and cost optimization.
- Knowledge of web application development, API integrations, authentication, web security, and database performance optimization.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices, automated testing, AI evaluation frameworks, and production observability.
- Ability to independently manage technical projects, troubleshoot complex issues, and make sound engineering decisions.
- Strong communication, technical writing, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into actionable technical plans.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and experience developing full-stack applications.
- Experience building AI solutions for financial services, healthcare, or contact center operations.
- Background in computer vision, enterprise document processing, or financial research applications.
- Experience implementing AI observability, model evaluation, and performance monitoring.
- Previous experience as a founding engineer, solo developer, or technical lead on a product.
- Active participation in AI engineering communities or open-source initiatives.

Skills Required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field
- At least 3-5 years of experience in machine learning, AI, or data science roles
- Proven track record of developing and deploying machine learning models in a production environment
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis, data mining, and data visualization techniques
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their AI/ML services
