Job Description

Design, develop, analyze, and maintain Automation Test Scripts for products and systems. Perform system integration tests of software and hardware. Write user documentation. Assist in resolving customer reported field issues on live, production systems.

Responsibilities:

• Use automation to provide Functional, Regression and Integration Testing, defect tracking and resolution, and assistance for User Acceptance Testing.
• Collaborate with various teams to identify the impacts of test requirements and improve the overall quality of the final deliverables.
• Write clear and concise test cases.
• Perform exploratory testing of our products.
• Analyze and troubleshoot results during test execution to ensure correct functionality and user experience.
• Document and follow up on all encountered bugs/issues during the triage process.

Basic Requirements

• Bachelors in Computer Science/IT or related field.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as PHP, TypeScript, NodeJS, MySQL, Javascript (React, jQuery).
• Experience designing, documenting and executing manual test cases.
• 4+ years of QA experience.
• 2+ years of experience in developing large and complex software in a professional context.
• Exposure to quality assurance testing tools like TestRail.
• Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with various roles inside of the organization.
• Ability to troubleshoot and strong systematic approach to problem-solving.
• Great attitude and always willing to continually improve the product.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Be able to communicate effectively in English (read, write and speak).
• Ability to interact with business partners and drive the conversation.
• Understanding of Agile methodology.
• Strong drive for results and taking initiative.
• Ability to be resourceful and adaptable.
• Ability to collaborate and have agility while making effective decisions.
• Curious mindset with a solutions orientation.

   

Nice to Have

• Experience with Robot framework, JMeter, Postman.
• Data parsing with XML and JSON.
• Experience with database testing including designing and manipulating test data.
• A passion for learning design principles, design patterns and highly maintainable code.
